Summer-Kikujiro Theme

 Summer  Summer is one of the most famous compositions by Hisaishi which is the score of Kikujiro (Kikujirō no Natsu or "Kikujirōs Summer") which is a 1999 Japanese film starring, written, and directed by Takeshi Kitano.   And Summer was also re-arranged and used for Toyota Corolla commercials, for instance. The recording can be found in his album Curved Music II.   Mamoru Fujisawa, known professionally as Joe Hisaishi, is a composer and director known for over 100 film scores and solo albums dating back to 1981.   While possessing a stylistically distinct sound, Hisaishis music has been known to explore and incorporate different genres, including minimalist, experimental electronic, European classical, and Japanese classical.
